YOU MAY ASK, "WHY SHOULD I SEND MY CHILD/CHILDREN TO TRI-COUNTY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?

Well, you probably have an idea of what we would say: Quality Education, Biblical Training, Small Classes, Christian Atmosphere, and we could go on. However, we thought it might be beneficial for you to hear what some of Tri-County's parents said when we asked them the same question, "Why do you send your children to Tri-County School?"

Here is what they said...

When choosing a school for our son, we took into consideration the amount of time he would be away from home and what kind of influences to which he would be exposed. We have all read about the power of "peer pressure", so we decided that TCCS would give him as much time as we possibly could to encourage, develop and establish a firm foundation for his beliefs before the world begins to "push" thier ideas on him from all sides. We have found the teachers give the children a godly perspective in all areas of teaching and display Christian life lived in attitude and discipline. We have watched Keegan grow mentally and spiritually from his experiences at school, which we feel have enhanced and solidified what he is taught at home and church. TCCS also teaches how to apply biblical principles in all areas of life, so when he does have to face experiences contrary to his faith (and he will) he will have a solid foundation to draw from and hopefully make decisions that will line up with those principles. If you are looking for a school that will reinforce the Christian faith you teach and live at home and give your child outstanding academics, Tri-County is the school for you.

We pursued private school for our children in an effort to provide the best academics available. Not only have our children received quality academic instruction at TCCS, but spiritual guidance and development as well. The prayers and support of faculty and students overwhelmed us when we pursued an international adoption. The teachers and aides from preschool on up have gone above and beyond in every respect in helping our challenged child to adapt and excel. If you are not sure whether TCCS is right for your child, one visit to Mrs. Hollis' Kindergarten class will remove any doubt from your mind!

When our daughter was approaching school age, we started considering what a great influence her teachers and her school would have on forming who she is. It was important to us that we find a place that taught her from a Christian perspective - that she learned that nothing is apart from God. We also wanted a school that she could hear daily about how much God loved her. We visited Tri-County and after 20 minutes in Mrs. Hollis' kindergarten class, we knew exactly where our daughter was going to school. Each year, we are continually overwhelmed with the quality, dedication and love that come from those who work and teach at TCCS.

Our family started at Tri-County when our oldest son was in the 4th grade. Even though he knew a few boys in his class form church or sports, there was still some anxiety about changing schools. The minute he got our of the car, his whole class greeted him and made him feel like an old friend. His hesitations about going to a new school were replaced with happiness and confidence.

At Tri-County we found an environment that was conductive to learning. Not only is the academic education excellent, but also the spiritual education has been that extra layer that has made our school experience exceptional. With Christian teachers, godly characteristics are modeled for students throughout the school day. When problems come up between students, these situations are handled in a loving, Christ-like way.

We appreciate so much how Tri-County has prepared our children academically and spiritually to go on and be a light for Christ and a success in their future high school careers and for the rest of their lives.

It is worth the cost and extra effort to have our kids in Tri-County Christian School. The teachers actively and intentionally present each subject from a biblical standpoint. The school's goals, purposes and foundation agree with what our kids are taught at home and church. Part of the school's goal is to train kids to serve God, and that's also our highest goal for our children. A Christian school does more than just permit biblical teaching; it is based on it and embraces it. TCCS exists for that very reason. Children are taught principles that will prepare them for the realities of life. Christ made us at creation, and then bought us when He died ont he cross. Because of that, we are not our own authority, but we are accountable to God. TCCS proudly teaches these foundational truths every day. It boils down to this - TCCS teaches what we believe to be absolutely true. This is where our kids ought to be!

From September through June my daughter spends most of her waking hours at school or school-related activities. TCCS has helped me fulfill the promise my late husband and I made to her kindergarten teacher in 1998, that we would "do all within our power to instruct her in the Christian faith and to lead her by our example to be a disciple of Christ."

At Tri-County, my daughter has not only been taught how to read and write and add and subtract, but also how to think creatively, how to solve problems and how to live a Christian life, applying her faith to event he most mundane areas of existence.

At the time of the death of my husband and my daughter's father. the staff, parents, students and principal demonstrated what Christina love and "being a part of the family of God" is all about.

We are truly blesses to have such a fine school in our community.

The foundation that you give your children with which to build their lives is extremely important. A good education is a major part of that foundation. In addition to offering an outstanding academic education, Tri-County is a school that teaches good old-fashioned Christian principles, high morals, and good behavior. TCCS has a school board, administration and teachers who love Jesus and in turn love these children. Children that are taught in a loving atmosphere learn better whether they are struggling because of a learning difficulty, are an average kid or they are at the top of their class. A school day at TCCS is focused on excellence in learning in a calm, loving environment.
