Tri-County Christian School is one of eleven organizations in the area that has been chosen to take part in the Home Run Derby challenge at the infamous little cubs field in Freeport. The 11-hour, 11-team event will raise funds for TCCS in an attempt to enter the unofficial world records book for most home runs in a day in one ballpark!
Volunteers 8+ years of age are needed to be pitchers, catchers, outfielders, and batters! Be prepared to hustle!

1. TCCS students/families seek pledges for the event. Donations can be in the form of a pledge per home run or a flat donation. For example, if someone pledges 10 cents for each homer hit in that hour, and the TCCS team hits 100 home runs, that person will donate $10. Otherwise, they may simply donate a fixed amount from the start. That is up to the discretion of the pledging individual. Any and all donation amounts are appreciated.
2. On Sunday, August 5, TCCS will have 1 hour to hit as many batting practice homeruns as possible. We will need some great batters and at least 15 volunteers to pitch, catch and retrieve balls. These volunteers will have to be prepared to “hustle!” Volunteers must be 8+ years of age.
3. All other TCCS families and supporters will come to cheer the team on and to join in on the fun!
