The TCCS 7th & 8th grade students participated in this year’s ACSI Junior High Speech Meet at Rock County Christian School in Beloit, WI on Friday, April 17. Holly DeWall, Paige Weber, David Hales, Caler Staub, Brittany Vehmeier, Brinkley Foltz, Bradyn Almasy, Brian Bruce Jr., Tre’ Gomer and Colton Lane all received SUPERIOR ribbons. Elle Morgan and CeAnna Vock received EXCELLENT ribbons with Jaylysa Hill, Nick Peterson and Abby Ehrler receiving a GOOD ribbon. We are very proud of each of these students! Thank you to all!
We are excited to announce that Tri-County Christian School has two state level winners in the Association of Illinois Soil and Water Conservation District (AISWCD) poster contest. These winners include Morgan Cox (for the K-1 division), daughter of Melinda Hartman and Shawn Cox and Domminick Alber (for the 2-3 division), son of Greg and Stacey Alber. Both posters won first place at the Stephenson County level and were sent out to be judged at the state level. Now that both are the Illinois State first place winners, their posters will advance to the national level later this fall. In addition, they are invited to attend an awards ceremony on July 22nd in Springfield, IL. Please join us in congratulating Morgan and Domminick! We are so proud of them both!

ACSI recently verified the results of this year’s Math Olympics competition for grades 3–8. There are two categories: Computation and Reasoning. This year we had 24 students from TCCS that competed against other Christian schools from across northern Illinois. We are very proud of each student for their hard work! The following students took TOP place among students from all the schools in their grade level:
